The devotion to the Sto. Niño enjoys immense popularity among Filipinos. Our faith, however, should not end in sentimentalism and prayers of petition. It must be translated into our everyday conduct, living, and dealings.Let not our devotion remain only on the level of the ritual and external. Just as the Child Jesus grew up and mature, our faith should likewise grow and mature.
